Quickie Armwarmers and a camera-hating cat

Okay, Toupie hates the camera. He kept squinting, squishing and moving around when he knew I was going to take a snap of him this morning.

I've started on my Gansey patterned armwarmers, but took time away from them to quickly knit up a pair of ribbed ones since it doesn't appear that the cold snap is going to snap any time soon.

I've settled on Dreft (a baby detergent) to wash my newly knitted woolens and it works well. I washed the second cowl this weekend. It came out beautifully.

Knitting quickie legwarmers using the same stitch. EZ is right. If you knit these items in spring and summer, there's no mad dash to get them done when you need them to wear. I'm learning.
